BREAKING: Lord’s ODI likely to be Rohit Sharma’s last outing for India.

It's on TM and selectors now. How they deal with this fiasco will set the precedent for the future generation.

Rohit has already lost all the respect he had among majority of the fans who have a brain. So they don't have much to worry about. Just kick the moron our from the team in the next series.

If this is another PR move by husband and wife, perma ban this guy from Indian cricket.

We saw his shenanigans in previous BGT, should have been punished there itself.

Also as unlikable as Hardik is, Rohit and his PR didn't spare any efforts in trying to undermine him, in fact it was straight up harassment/bullying. Not once did he even try to put down the flames or calm the booing crowds, same Hardik won Rohit the 24 T20 WC, a month after one of the meanest, vilest bullying campaigns against a player in this sport.

If this too is PR, Rohit is one of the most crooked men in Indian cricket history.

Bad cricketers are still tolerable. But ones using Bollywood like PR campaigns to further their own interests at the cost of others should be shown no mercy.

Our legends love to cling on.

Had Rohit taken responsibility and retired after NZ whitewash or after his poor outing in his comeback test in Aus......had he retired on a high after CT final, he would have been loved/respected so much more.

What Rohit is doing right now is completely unforeseen though. Sachin , Dhoni etc never stooped this low at any point during their last phases. Dhoni for all his faults, retired straight away when the T20 WC 2020 was cancelled and moved to 2021 because of Covid.. And he would have been younger than Rohit's 2027 WC age in that tournament.

First that vomit inducing paid PR drama during the Sydney Test and now this....crooked , selfish and low cunning to the T.

WADR, such videos reek of cherry-picking and not objective analysis. Someone could make an edit of all the 6s he has hit in ICC tourneys and use that montage to positively justify his inclusion. But it takes away from the main point - that a 39 y.o who is having difficulty getting it together has little chance of rising back up because reflexes and hand-eye coordination on which he relies are only going to get worse. This makes it imperative that we groom new guys, remembering that there will be only one RGS.

Samay - 1

Sharma - 0

Oh man...that 2013-14 tour clip is absolutely hilarious. He went there in red hot form after scoring his first double hundred against Australia and then proceeded to humiliate himself against Steyn and Morkel. There is a clip on YouTube showing him playing and missing i think 20 balls in a row.:giggle:

Don't think he will retire rohit is a leech

I am seeing all of these experts and coaches only come out and say "There is no pressure from TM on Rohit in this match" when asked about retirement. But the question isn't about pressure.
