Why the injustice to Mohammad shami

Shami isn’t being selected for the tests. Prasidh like jokers are playing 

 

this selection committee needs to be sacked

Shami's real age might be 40.. he can't bowl over 140k anymore especially with red ball.

What's the point?

Saw Shami bowl in a Ranji match last season. 

 

He was losing steam in his later spells. 

 

His skills are still a bit too much for domestic batters.

 

But will he still trouble international batters in his later spells ?  Not sure at all.

 

He is not the Shami of 2015 to 2023 anymore, who used to bowl rockets with movement.

 

If the IDs posted by his ex-wife are true, he would complete 39 in a couple of months.

Prasidh plays in all three formats. That is a travesty. Got hammered by Irish batsmen in T20Is.  Probbaly okay for ODIs. Even there he has to be consistent as he can't field or bat.

Even in 2023 ODI he was running out of breath.

Shami is skillful and master of seam bowling, but age catches up with everyone. It will catch up with Bumrah too in couple of years.

 

Moving away from Shami was not the wrong decision, but probably messaging could have been better. 

 

I think he is as old as Umesh, Umesh will touch 40 this year.

Which Indian Fast bowler had a very good test match and ODI career, is a ODI WC ATG and is now probably done in international cricket  ?

What season?? Those tracks suited slower bowlers like Aquib Nabi 

Visually Shami looked very slow and a pale shadow of himself

The injustice is not Brar not getting test debut here but not able to make his debut in shorter formats lot earlier. It is right call to let Krishna play the first test.

Shami is better than Siraj forget anyone else.It is criminal that they have killed his career.

The guy is a legend and deserves a proper send off instead of constant cold shoulder and communication gaps. I would pick him instead of the insipid Prasidh any day.

He needs to be in the lineup as long as he can play ...forget about his age..

 

India doesnt have a bowler of his caliber..

 

If he is fit...he shohld be in the team as a first choice

Technically you cannot say No to Shami if he plays domestic matches. THey need to give reason why they are not picking him even if it is a bad one. It is  a bad treatment.

If Shami is not good enough for International matches owing to his stamina, let that be proven on cricket field rather than on assumptions.
