Pak batters are particularly not that good vs high pace and bounce has always been a problem to them so its its easy to make this make such decision. express bowling 1

Forward Defence Posted August 22 Posted August 22 W/L Ratio In the next few matches we should be able to go ahead of Pakistan in this metric. The home losses to SA and NZ delayed this a tad.

And the **** definitely gets to the fire. All those years of shielding chuckers, age fudgers and matchfixers surely caught up to them. Kaha hai talent Pakistan mein , their so called best spinner isn't being picked in tests because pooks are afraid he's going to get called. And then there's the whole ball tampering **** as well. Ties can never mend as Pak is a geopolitical tool for bigger powers and it was created for that reason. CWG game performance is getting worse with each edition. That's a good idea that there is not a lot going on at grassroots and they don't have resources to divert anymore. No one can "prop" an economy up. For an economy to rise, they need investment and even Saudis/Americans are not dumb enough to invest in that black hole rife with illiteracy and insurgency. They will do minimum investment to get their loyalty and that's it. American and Saudi companies are investing big time across the border in India because that way, you will see profits and returns. Ties can mend when India reaches USA/China tier and Pakistan swaps their Amriki/Chini bosses for Hindustani ones. Ofc, older gen who sees India as a "rival" will never agree but younger gen z who have seen nothing but destruction at the hands of India in all fields will be more amenable. New guy 1

The army has power in Pakistan and the Pakistani people are it's way to earn money. The supposed threat that India presents to them is the reason for them and their position in Pakistan's hierarchy. Pakistan has been sold out completely to Americans Saudis and Chinese spheres of influence style. The military is totally in the control of US & CIA. As far as India's rise goes they have been largely successful to delay our industrialisation phase for as long as they can and the bigger ploy is to stagnate our rise like they did with Japan. Pooks are nothing but a Suicide bomber attached to us since Independence. Brits created the concept and US has since then continued it. China too plays along as it suits them as well. As Jaishankar said couple of days ago India missed its industrialisation bus and now its very hard for us to get back on track ourselves. India will likely grow old before it becomes richer. Pak will get worse and their upcoming population explosion upto 2050's -60's will make things worse for rest of the subcontinent. Edited August 23 by Lone Wolf

Jaishankar did not state/mean that India cannot industrialize. His actual message is the exact opposite,as he consistently argues that robust domestic manufacturing is an absolute necessity for Indias economic future and national security. The misinterpretation of his historical analysis,he openly acknowledged that India made serious policy errors by missing out on key decades of industrial growth from the 60s onward and relying too heavily on the services sector.Rather than declaring defeat, Jaishankar uses historical context to argue that India must aggressively build deep domestic supply chains and expand its manufacturing base now through initiatives like Make in India. He has infact warned that relying on foreign imports instead of building local capacity is economic suicide, making it clear that his goal is to push India toward full industrialization rather than write it off Edited August 23 by Suhaan express bowling 1

India is still pretty much a socialist state. We are still doing IT production support and mainataince for American companies while not a single product has come out of India. Basically putting all our eggs in IT basket sealed our fate in the 90's, they wanted a shortcut and we are left in a never ending loop and financial elites still hold the power as well as enormous bureaucracy which is unaccountable. China had to let go all of that in 1978 to kick on towards that phase. India is too late to do anything about it anymore. No R&D push by private sector is clear indication that they only look at rate of return while ignoring long term productivity. Sgattick10 1

bsriharsha Posted August 23 Posted August 23 And also reminds me , we got ojha out of playing cricket when it was clear that his action had deteriorated to the point that he was marginally over 15 degrees. At the same time , Pakistanis were championing for chucks like Ajmal and Hafeez. How many more wickets would Harbhajan have taken if he hadn't had to rework his action when the likes of the Pakistani chucked on to undeserved wickets.
bsriharsha Posted August 23 Posted August 23 And Ajmal was caught chucking at 42 degrees. Same goes with Murali btw too. It's not fair that batsmen have had their careers taken a hit , better rule following bowlers haven't gotten a chance because PCB were greedy enough and ready enough to play the victim card.

You need patient industrial capital to build domestic manufacturing capacity and supply chains. Our elites are selfish c**ts. No 2 ways about it. Always looking to extract natural resources rather than build something useful. Edited August 23 by Nikhil_cric New guy and Lone Wolf 2
