Man is becoming phenomenon an is breaking all sorts of box office record. It has already grossed over 17 crores in just 3 weeks from kerala box office. Made at a budget of just 4 crores, it is poised to become highest grossing mal film ever and is praised by critics to be one of the best movies in last decade.

Indian audience deserves it. Lunchbox was another half baked supposedly intelligent film but actually pseudointellectual. Our standards are far too low. :giggle:

Agree was surprisingly good though my expectations were too low to begin Recently saw Moodar Koodam awesome movie .Definitely worth a watch atleast once (Though probably most would have watched it by now) . Probably the best movie after Soodhu Kavvum last year in tamil cinema

Lot of off beat movies without "mass heroes" come up .

We NRIs wouldnt understand that.. Dont read too much into it.

The other day, my cousin, a massive SRK fan was complaining how lame the Schindler's List was at it had no mass, suspense etc in it. That's pretty much how most of our audience are.

The seventeen day figures from major markets is as follows. United Kingdom - £2,490,000 North America - $7,850,000 UAE - $6,250,000 Australia - $1,675,000 Maybe NRIs are homesick and want to take a break for nostalgia?

Yup.. believe it or not.. pakis love our movies so they contribute to this revenue and plus those Indians who want to do something during winter x-mas break.. Big starrer movies during x-mas/new year break will guarantee to make money in US at least.
