We all know that the guy has motivation issues and most of us agree that the way back for Veeru really is a stint at county cricket but lets just hope that Veeru mounts a comeback. He is too good to end like this IMO and a Veeru-Dhawan on song would be an insanely good thing.

To be fair to KT Dhawan wasnt the same player we saw in the past ...looked decent & knew was good playing the shortball ...but have never seen him the way hes been timing the ball on hid come back . the drives have been a treat to watch .

Maybe I can try and claim this thread helped him get better and was reason for his improvement. He heard criticism and improved. or it was an anti jinx thread which worked and was reason for his success. O wait I have a life.:hysterical: I was plain wrong. Two failures, I woulkd not read so much into it yet. I wish he had played the second warm up match in SA for the A team, the 3/4 day game. Given him a better idea of what the pitches were like. He just needs longer on these wickets to get used to the bounce.

Letting the ball go should be the first game plan.[/quote'] Agree,Have only seen him play 1 way so far.....Dhawan like Sehwag wont be bothered by the pace and bounce,Sehwag's initial success was that he knew the right delivery to attack and defend but with Dhawan I havent seen the quality so far....I havent seen a decent innings under tough circumstances either.
