Basically a cone collector and someone who does training drill and thats about it. Any tom dick and harry knows that Fletcher is a coach obssessed with fast bowlers. Hates trundlers and has no time for them. All the pace junkies on this forum, Fletcher is signed up member to this club. When coach of England obssessed with getting in bowlers who bowl fast and dumping trundlers. Even english media thought he was too obseesed with getting fast bowlers at expenses of swing / seam bowlers at low 80s. Yet now coach of India see team with trundlers. The rare fast bowlers we have are not even in team and even one we do have is not given new ball, used in defensive manner and treated like garbage when in fact is a rare diamond. Just shows how powerless Fletcher is and basically has no say. Dhobi running the show and as we know is stubborn and as stupid as a mule.

Like I sadi every tom dick and harry knows Fletcher is obssessed with fast bowlers. Yet Indian team gives one fast bowler old ball and uses him like rubbish. While is other is dumped from squad and instead trundlers galore played. You dont need to be sherlock to understand who is making the decsions here and who holds the power

rkt.india Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Yadav first was left out of Zim tour when he could have played that series. Fast bowlers when fit domt need too long breaks as it affects the rhythm. Only bowling could get one his rhythm back. In last ODI, playing 2 spinners was silly.
