Instead they chose to overpay losers like Maxwell, yuseless pathan, nohit sharma, etc. I would love to know who is the biggest influencer when buying these players

diga Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Delhi is coached by former India bowling coach Eric Simons... his tenure as SA coach resulted in poor results & was sacked. Even during his tenure as Ind bowling coach, he was dumped after 8-0 vs Eng & Aus
Detonator Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Honestly, I didn't expect this kind of thrashing they get.. Hopefully, they get back togather and win a few matches

yoda Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 KP, Ross Taylor and Aaron are missing, Sehwag and Umesh were in good form last year..plus so many players coming back after an injury Sehwag, Mahela, Irfan, Umesh, Morkel Ryder's injury hasn't helped either Ok, barring KP and Taylor (who was a hit and miss), almost same team. From top of the table to bottom? Totally unexpected.
DomainK Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 DD owners should seriously consider some changes in team management for the next season. Change the captain, the coaches and the managers.
kubrickian Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 IPL is all about momentum. A team starts losing 2 or 3 games in a row, then its hard to come back. The games happen so fast that players dont have time to get their form back. If they get into the negative frame of mind and team spirit is not there, you can be rest assured they will continue losing.
adi B Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 prepare pace bowling conducive tracks so that at least the bowlers do well, the batsmen cant do worse tbh

someone Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Cannot rule them out so easily. They still have a good team and they can still be in the top 4. Today might be their day.
