Midfielder Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 IPL form is quite irrelevant as far as Tests are concerned. No it is not. That showed he was having trouble and these two tests confirm that.
undisputed chap Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 No it is not. That showed he was having trouble and these two tests confirm that. Yes agree. Even bigger joke is that this guy gets away dropping dollies left & right. Bowlers are bowling 20 overs a day & this guy makes a mockery of their efforts by dropping dollies . Now if he can't bat as well why exactly is he in the team.

Unfortunately this will not happen.
SLICKR392 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 How does IPL matter? He had a good one last season too and went on to have his best outing in Test cricket in SA and NZ. It's all about few good shots from the middle of the bat. I just don't want him to score another dead rubber ton. We need him badly in the third Test.
vvvslaxman Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 I thought he got the measure of Tests match batting. Once again he looks like playing self -doubts. He is a far better player than this.
Cricketics Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Even with all those low scores, I am still not worried. Also something going against Kohli is that I haven't watched any of his 4 innings on this tour live from the ball 1 he has played. Hence he hasn't been scoring much. Hopefully that will change from the next test and somehow I will be in front of my tv or pc when he comes on to bat.
BlueBee Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Keep Calm! He's not Alistair Cook. He'll be back. Keep patience.
maniac Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 As long as rat doesn't drop dollies,I will be a aavkc
undisputed chap Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 art of leaving by Virat ? Sharam esque :hatsoff:
asterix Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Anti Virat Kohli Club When Dhobi has been criticised severely even when atleast he's making some runs, it's only fair that The Rat too gets his share if criticism for doing diddly so far in this series... Its amazing that India is still able to compete in spite of carrying so many overhyped passengers in the team... :hatsoff:
Austin 3:!6 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Has anyone noticed there is slight change in stance in Kohli's batting. He is standing more upright than before. This might be causing imbalance? Just saying
Lord Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 As long as rat doesn't drop dollies' date='I will be a aavkc[/quote'] he is dropping dollies:((
express bowling Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Inspite of his fantastic performances in the tough South Africa and New Zealand tours , Kohli seems to have some mental issues while playing tests. Especially if it is after a large gap. He is still not comfortable with test matches. That is the my main concern. Otherwise, a short bad run of 4 innings is not an issue at all.
sscomp32 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Wtf in sharmaon ne to team india ki leni deni kar rkhi hai, chahe team mein ho ya gf ho ya to team ki lagti hai ya player ki. sent from dil se
SLICKR392 Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 art of leaving by Virat ? Sharam esque :hatsoff: Watched the hilghlights today and that was a good delivery. Nipped in a little late and most balls at that length was going above the stumps.
Lord Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 Watched the hilghlights today and that was a good delivery. Nipped in a little late and most balls at that length was going above the stumps. was still too close to leave.

I think Rohit left a similar kind of ball against Steyn in SA and got bowled. People started joking as if it has happened first and last time.
