I don't get this analysis of interviews where the one who shouts the loudest wins. In the very first minute, Thackeray talks about the police capacity - more than half the Bombay police is deputed on VIP protection. He is talking about "limited force hai" - kyon hai limited force? The guy's solution is "RR Patil ko nikaal do". Crap like "Har chef apni recipe nahin bataata", when asked for a solution. Making an electoral pitch in the middle of the interview with "vote nahin maang raha hoon". He is equating movement within a country to moving from one city to another within the same country by invoking visa and registration. Himself admits that he is diverting the topic and gets back to his solution "government change karna hai". He says rapists are because of Bangladeshis and Pakistanis coming to Bombay through the channels of UP and Bihar.

the names of the people who did this particular incident has made him say that.

One ideally shouldn't require paper work when going to another city of his/her own country. Raj is correct in one aspect - police should be given a free hand and there should fear of punishment among criminals.

Both are idiots. Arnab won't shut up and let his guests finish what they have to say. Thackeray' solution for everything seems to be to blame "outsiders" (i.e. fellow Indians from different states) for all ills plaguing Mumbai.

This interview is very unarnab like. He is actually letting thakeray complete his arguments. This and his ndtv days show that arnab's antics on timesnow is an act. I don't know why he does it. Who is the audience he is trying to cater to?Everybody dislikes it. Maybe it's just a case of big bully letting the bigger bully complete his arguments.

thakeray's might is right, beat up everybody who disagrees with me feels like the way a rapist who lacks empathy and respect for fellow beings would think.

He is catering to common people who enjoys watching his show where he rips politicians apart when they try to clarify a position which is against general sentiment of the nation , which is again built up by Media. There are many people who are fan of such shows, and there are some who dislikes it , yet caanot skip watching his over the top shouting for the lack of unbiased choices. Over the years his show has degraded in quality and his shouting has become worse. I stopped watching his show for long time , I cannot tolerate him at all. He is an idiot of the highest order.

Ek baaju kua dusri baaju khai is commonly the condition when it comes to governance. The other day MNS goons beat up a municipal worker who's sort of dealing with repairs of roads. I don't know what to pick between the two, potential accident from massive potholes (almost had one twice in July) or goons trying to get the sarkari scoundrels working or maybe just pretending to do the same. Is there a third option ?

Nah......the regular debates need to be spiced up so that the people/aam viewers can get their daily dose of news-tainment.......In interviews like the above, Arnab needs to behave himself so that prominent people don't start boycotting/distancing themselves from times now......his antics on news hour are mostly concerned with him taking up the general opinion on issues and then exposing/grilling various spokespersons who have contrarian opinions.....

Same was true for Bal Thackeray.

If I lived in mumbai, I'd never vote for this guy. If this guy comes to power, baahar wale mumbai main pitenge, aur marathi log rest of India main pitenge. Bjp/shiv sena would be my first choice.

How are Shiv Sena's policies different from MNS?
