Yuvi - Comeback appreciation thread

The innings was very special. I hope he plays plenty of ODI cricket and T20 cricket and wish him the best of luck. I think it would be best for all parties if he is kept free of Test consideration until he has played some cricket of the format and shown form. He would be a perfect contender for a county stint, imo. I think he would qualify, considering all the international cricket he has played.

Yes, really. A flattering photo proves nothing, I caught bit of the match live. On the other hand, I raise you this from cricinfo...Yuvraj in second trimester of his pregnancy. :hysterical: 168699.jpg

You can't lose all your tummy within 40 days of training. He is still working hard on his fitness and that's the most heartening thing to see after cancer treatment. Hats off to him.

:hatsoff: Still feel he's not fullly there yet,he can hit longer sixes for sure
very good observation. he was hitting 60-65 m sixes and he can hit much longer. maybe some power is lost with that weight :) but he looks quite fit and was running well

Absolutely fabulous :hail: I always underrated Yuvi a little. With his captaincy aspirations etc., (which I think were mostly pressured by his dad), I felt like there was something missing. I am humbled now by this comeback. Wow. To go thru cancer and other BS through last year, to come back with such great fitness and determination, shows how mentally strong he is. Massive respect. :hail: :hail: :hail: I'm very interested in how he does in the ODIs. Yuvi :yay:
