Vilander Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 he has toned down everywhere..looks lean and has a smaller tummy now...lol
msb1991 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The innings was very special. I hope he plays plenty of ODI cricket and T20 cricket and wish him the best of luck. I think it would be best for all parties if he is kept free of Test consideration until he has played some cricket of the format and shown form. He would be a perfect contender for a county stint, imo. I think he would qualify, considering all the international cricket he has played.
cowboysfan Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I am watching highlights and i agree that his power is still not there yet but he looks very fit, just glad to have him back but strange that he didnt get a bowl.
jalebi_bhai Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Any specific reason why he didn't bowl ? Dhoni didn't want to put unnecessary pressure on him apparently.........
PAA-G Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Coming ipl he needed to find his takers....he has laid that foundation!!!
diga Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Coming ipl he needed to find his takers....he has laid that foundation!!! comeon.. appreciate that he has recovered from cancer and performing back to his old best
Lord Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Some amazing comments on Yuvraj's 'super fitness' above. He had his gut spilling out like a mallu aunty's g@@nd. :hysterical: really?
Sidhoni Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Always wonderful to see Yuvi winning the match for us
Lord Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Yes, really. A flattering photo proves nothing, I caught bit of the match live. On the other hand, I raise you this from cricinfo...Yuvraj in second trimester of his pregnancy. :hysterical: Dhoni's fat too then
Zanjeer Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 You can't lose all your tummy within 40 days of training. He is still working hard on his fitness and that's the most heartening thing to see after cancer treatment. Hats off to him.
CoverDrive Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 :hatsoff: Still feel he's not fullly there yet,he can hit longer sixes for sure very good observation. he was hitting 60-65 m sixes and he can hit much longer. maybe some power is lost with that weight :) but he looks quite fit and was running well
Lord Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 just watched the highlights again.looked slim as ever.not going to get any slimmer
Jersey #10 Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 He has lost a lot of weight. Looked super slim and fit. Good come back
flamy Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Absolutely fabulous I always underrated Yuvi a little. With his captaincy aspirations etc., (which I think were mostly pressured by his dad), I felt like there was something missing. I am humbled now by this comeback. Wow. To go thru cancer and other BS through last year, to come back with such great fitness and determination, shows how mentally strong he is. Massive respect. :hail: I'm very interested in how he does in the ODIs. Yuvi :yay:
