Old guy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Sabby needs to change avi. 5fer for Broad. next avatar is rohit :--D
Old guy Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 @ vvs dude that was not slogging some of those innings were proper innings under pressure
vvvslaxman Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 we will see what ashwin does..i love his technique ..when he scores run he is my favourite batsman in indian team cos he looks so classy but he has done it against west idnies but did not do it against australia or england at home (i mean to play like a batsman ) so i will hold the hype for a year or so :) Even though I don't want India to depend on him too much as he could turn into another Irfan, i like his batting too because his timing is sublime. In all these years from chennai he looks like the best batsman lol. Okay Ramesh looked okay.. but bit loose. Karthik inconsistent. Vijay is a sitting duck outside the off stump. Cheeka fluke batsman. WV Raman a joke .
Detonator Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Looks like Ashwin took over many threads in ICF
G_B_ Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Just saw the Johnson innings. He is clearly confident and in the mood. Showed the top order how to play.
Soorma_Bhopali Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 average can change so quickly i remember johnson started really well too averaged around 40 i am saying this from what i have seen..this is not one off he has played innigns like this before against big teams ..the day ashwin scores 100 against england or south africa even at home i will agree You seem to have a bad memory ..Ashwin played a rearguard back-to-the walls knock of 90+ runs while following -on last year in the lost Kolkata test vs. England .This was against Anderson,Finn,Swann and Panesar when the accomplished batsmen fell like nine-pins.The quality of that knock was top-rate.:hatsoff:

adi B Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 bailey will score in the 2nd innings, johnson historically bowls well when he bats well ,bit complementary even the commies were going gaga over it
bsriharsha Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 he hits to the left , he hits to the right . this mitchel johnson, his batting's allright.
Trundler27 Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 darn it... i wanted Bailey to do well.... this chap is really likeable unlike most Aussies and Poms... Hopefully he gets some serious runs in the 2nd innings Johnson and Warner looked really confident too... Rest of the Aussie line-up curled up though... Bad bad omen for them
CG Posted November 21, 2013 Posted November 21, 2013 Johnson is like Bhajji' date=' Broad, and Swann who can have some brilliant batting performances but cannot be relied upon. [b']Ashwin if you give him responsibility, he has the technique of a proper batsmen to trust him. And the temperament to go with it.
Sean Bradley Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 What a day in the field for Mitchell , 4 wickets already :two_thumbs_up:.

Forever Indian Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Hostile bowling by MJ Fiery! Brilliant! Scary! Hatsoff And we have our own left armer Jaijagadeesh Unadkat :hysterical: There is one common trait amongst Johnson and Unadkat - They both scare the **** out of Indians.
SLICKR392 Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 There is one common trait amongst Johnson and Unadkat - They both scare the **** out of Indians. Have you seen Unadkat's 110KPH stare? :afraid:
Forever Indian Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Have you seen Unadkat's 110KPH stare? :afraid: Ofcourse, that was his slower bouncer. He also has a surprise faster bouncer which will always remain a surprise :agree:
adi B Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 bailey will score in the 2nd innings' date='johnson historically bowls well when he bats well ,bit complementary even the commies were going gaga over it[/quote'] he does it again
