Austin 3:!6 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Amidst of test loses people already forgot that we have not won a single overseas ODI since WI tri series (Lost 2-0 & 5-0 in SA and NZ respectively) So I am sure people will forget if we do well in Asia cup and WT20. Having said that, I knw we wont do good even in those tournament. Our T'20 WC record is pathetic.

If india wins the t20 cup dhoni will Again become a god....and will captain india for next 5 years India needs to prepare fast pitches so that V win in indian conditions n also abroad.

His name is still floating up there so his @ss is under fire. No i wont forget and even if we do forget, look at the upcoming schedule. Plenty of overseas games and soon, if we dont do well there, the t20 wc win will be on the backburner like the ct win was when we were losing to nz 4-0
vijay50 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 IF only we could have had technically correct power hitter replacements for Raina and Yuvraj outside subcontinent we could have won 2-3 ODIS in SA/NZL.Karthik and Rayudu wont cut it out as replacements for them. Karthik and Rayudu may be good replacements for Rohit and Rahane in ODIs.

No i wont nor will anyone else posting on a cricket forum. IE hardcore cricket fans. Your typical Indian aunty who watches one match every 2 years i.e. India if in a WC final isnt even aware of our abysmal away record. So expect that status quo if an Indian victory and a lifeline for Dhoni.

jf1gp_1 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 0-8 loss was bad but we played poor cricket, the recent test and ODI loss in SA and NZ were due to some dumb cricketing moves and selection which still doesnt change. The problem is we will again see such stuff when we travel to england in a few months.
