Lord Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Sandeep has most wickets during PP. Best bowler with new ball. struggled today without swing there.need to improve accuracy and no ball issue
vishalvirsingh Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 struggled today without swing there.need to improve accuracy and no ball issue Sandeep swings for few overs when conditions favour swing... He is way tooooo slow for international cricket. He is not even as fast as praveen kumar. If I hv to pick one of pk or sandeep I l choose pk.
msb1991 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 People discounting him on one match* - how idiotic do you want to be? *Effectively one over.
mancalledsting Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 He is learning from Ishant in the nets :dontknow: lol
rkt.india Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 People discounting him on one match* - how idiotic do you want to be? *Effectively one over. Here one over, one match is enough to decide who is crap, who isn't!
undisputed chap Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 imo sandeep is not good enough. He is another in the line of 125kph swing bowlers which w e have always produced.
puneet28 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Here one over' date=' one match is enough to decide who is crap, who isn't![/quote'] Struat Broad was smacked for 36 runs in a T20 International. He too was bowling at similar speeds then 125-130 KMPH. Look now how he has improved. Only bowler from England in last Ashes who troubled some how Aussies. Just wait. If Sandy is hard worker and learner, he will certainly improve.

rkt.india Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 stuart broad actually had the built to do so. Sandeep will most probably end up being like pk at best I have more hopes from Deepak Chahar. He is a strong guys, good action, can swing the ball, and has a fetish to become a genuine fast bowler and not like PK. He came back this season for Rajasthan taking 21 wickets in 4-5 matches.
msb1991 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 stuart broad actually had the built to do so. Sandeep will most probably end up being like pk at best Praveen was our best bowler on the tour of England - the best or second best test team in the world at the time. Praveen's problems has been injuries and fitness, he would have been very good if not for injuries.

You can other Indian bowlers were really mediocre. Being average among mediocre bowlers is what Praveen was. Those were some highly helpful conditions for him.
Forever Indian Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Sandeep Sharma without his pace still seems the best Indian quickie so far in this IPL. Wonderful control bowler with swing. Should be given a try in T20s instead of Bhuvi who seems to have lost his mojo...
adi B Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 He always swings it under lights with the new ball ,his pace was a bit up as well, bowled close to 133
Ironhide Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 He always swings it under lights with the new ball ' date='his pace was a bit up as well, bowled close to 133[/quote'] Sandeep has increased his bowling speed by 10KPH, last year he was around 122-127 kph, In 2015 he is bowling at 132-140 KPH, bowled many balls at 136-137 and one or two touched 140kph too. And yeah he is still swinging miles.

express bowling Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Sandeep bowled 2 quickish bouncers today. Liked them.
BeautifulGame Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Well next world cup is in england .With his control over swing should definitely be groomed . But for tests should be on A tours first Don't think we need him for T20 team
