Yes, I do. It's not just GG though. If you want to consistently compete with the best , you need to invest a lot more or ECB and CA will pull ahead.

So what exactly is wrong with Hari as the Data analyst of the team? You quoted the guy whom Dravid got into the setup as a coach and his contract was not renewed when coaching set up changed. Is your problem him not being the data analyst? You have Kuldeep and Varun C publicly acknowledging role of Hari in their Asia Cup success. But nah, that doesn't count 

 

BTW ECB had scaled down their data analyst team ahead of the India test series with Mccullum saying he will prefer to go by 'guts'. Likely you missed the news or are pretending not to have read about it.

Read the whole set of tweets and what India are not doing right.  No problem with Hari.  What Kuldeep specifically talked about was length data.

I thought it was Matheesha Pathirana delivered the fastest ball at 175 kph  ?

Sami (pak. intnl) bowled 2 balls over 161 kmph in an over or may be match which were said to be tech. glitch. He is still bitter about it.

He used to clock 150+ kmph those days.

We can ignore 2027 WC and pretend it never happened. I don't think we have had a weaker ODI bowling unit in the last 10 years. You keep giving chances to Siraj,Harshit and those batters who can bowl a bit and still expect to do well?

Harshit is cramping badly.

 

But made to bowl 4 overs on the trot by " genius " Gill. 

 

Fell down wincing in pain twice But still made to bowl. He could get a serious injury this way.

A fit bowler, no matter how innocuous, is still better than a limping pacer.

Rana looks good in patches but his current fitness level is simply not good enough.

 

And yet he is still the only u25 fast bowling prospect we have available, rest have vanished. Our LOI seam options are the bleakest they've ever been

Let's face it none of them will play white ball cricket for India until they do well in IPL. Only Yash there has played some IPL games and he was sitting on the bench for most of last year.

BCCI should arrange adhoc 5 match ODI series in SENA to give us a chance to prepare the squad for 2027. At current rate, our TM and selectors will simply put blame on lack of ODI games in case we don't do well. Siraj, Arshdeep, Harshit don't inspire much. Hardik won't be there so pacers have to be of top quality and with big match temperament.

If BCCI is really serious about 2027 WC, the preparation has to begin now.
But knowing BCCI, they're more interested about checks and remittances instead of grooming the pace stocks.
