Don't think anyone in the country bowls better outswing at Pace than Simarjeet... Mostly our bowlers only bowl inswing to RHB.  Ability to take the ball away has become rare

@express bowling @Mosher @Nikhil_cric

All our bowlers need to master the wobble seam and land it on a good length as the stock ball.

Outswing is good but the wobble ball is unpredictable and will make them far better bowlers.

Also, Simarjeet should be developed as an ODI prospect.

Last time he played against Australia A, he comfortably outbowled Gurjapneet and Yudhvir

Yep there is huge hue and cry over Aquib Nabi but Simarjeet with this performance has brought himself back into contention.

I am in favour of giving this guy a run in ODIs

Delhi should play on spicy tracks.. despite reversal against JnK.

Aquib Nabi will be another Bharibojhesque fiasco

I think Aquib will be a better option in tests and Simarjeet for odi and t20.  Let Simarjeet prove himself over time in Ranji like Aaquib and we can consider him for tests.

Aquib operating at 125kph can only get Ranji batsmen out

You need atleast 135+ with bounce to succeed at international red ball game for his height

Bharibhoj has no skill to land the ball on seam consistently or puts enough backspin on it.  Aquib looks more skilled than him atp.

Between Simarjeet and Aquib.. I think they will go with Aquib coz of hype created.

bowling at sub 130 and iirc he's around 5'8

Don't think it will help in internationals

What is Simarjeet's pace? Has anyone seen him being clocked? Looks like a heavy ball bowler. Nabi looks to me to be around 137ish. But have followed very little of cricket lately.

Posted in this thread yesterday that Simarjeet was bowling two or three 139 k / 140 k balls every over and clocked a fastest of 144 k in his current Ranji match.

Shams Mulani ( sla + scores tough runs like Ashwin ) performing season after season deserves an opportunity

There are multiple SLA in domestic - Mulani, Dubey, Saurabh, Shebaz etc...

But next in line for test is Axar

Is Simarjeet's action clean, @rkt.india? I understand it's not chucking, but it looks a bit awkward.

Watched the highlights. Saw one of Simarjeet's delivery at 141. Btw, Grewal is not bad. Saw one ball at 136, plus he does give it his all. Although, he will be one of the many such bowlers in Indian domestic cricket currently.

Axar seems ineffective on non-turning tracks.. important to have primarly spinner handy with bat types as backups too

Yes, he gives flick of the wrist that seem different.
