lol think of it. The only decent team we barely managed to beat was Pakistan. And those guys literally self imploded and it took some individual brilliance from our end. We found it tough even against Bangladesh.

Bhuvi even under the most helpful conditions is afraid of pitching it up and looking for wickets. He is KL of bowlers - has ability but prefers playing safe. What's the use of all this experience when he shits the bed when needed the most. Never seen a more harmless and friendly spell of bowling in a big match than what Bhuvi did today in his first 2 overs. 

 

No pace even by his standards

No zip

Minimal movement

Poor lengths ... bowling too short for a swing bowler

 

Just gently floating the ball up as slowly as he could. 

 

Oh wait  !  He did it in the last T20 WC too against Pakistan. 

 

2019, 2021 and 2022 WCs ... he has messed up every time.

Keeping him already wastes a spot

Ok,lets assume Tyagi,Umran,Prasidh,Mohsin,Patidar for two series,they fail these jholadharis will hover around and say atleast boobie was economical in bilats,look we have lost against Zim and BD

They always overlook the learning curve which these kids will go through,let them play overseas leagues

Give them assurance they won't do any worse than this lot has done

 

But again,Harshal and others will play as they didn't get a game this WC

I will abuse them from Sunday once pak eventually win . These mofos have no shame , these Rohit's, Dravid, Bhuvi, Ashwin, dk would still stick like leaches and our moron selectors would keep choosing them.

Who in his right mind fills the squad with medium paced swing bowlers and slower cutter bowlers ....  and still expects to win.  !!!!!!

 

They could not even play the slower cutter bowler in a single match, because he looked a misfit in these conditions as we all expected.

 

But nothing will change as the trundlers will light up low key bilaterals and league games when the high profile batters are either taking it easy or not playing.

100% true, 130kph bowler can only stay if he has additional skills with bat.
But ICF pe aisa likho toh public gaaliyan dene pe utar aati hai.

I think these self proclaimed experts in our team somehow feel that looking at some stats without taking them into context, focussing excessively on ‘match-ups’ and things like that make us smarter. Need to get off this high horse.
 

At the end of it u need that ability to step it up when it matters. Also must have those skills. And ‘skills’ aren’t just coming up with some slow ball or cutter or swinging when it swings. U gotta be able to force things and make them happen when things don’t go your way . TBH, I don’t mind getting knocked out early. But with this team I can say with certainty we would never win when it matters.
