This is probably the reason he is not travelling to NZ. BD ODI squad is exclusive to NZ ODI squad as there isn't much gap. 

Not complaining to be honest. Thank god they didn't name Bhuvi or Avesh as replacement.

India A squad me Atit Seth aur Mukesh jaise trundlers bhar liye. Why can't these selectors give preference to genuine quicks. Mavi and Kartik should have been picked.

Nice to Rohan Kunnummal got selected, he is another opener who has scored runs at a very good average and high SR.
In place of Saini, would have liked Tyagi here. We are wasting him in domestics, Saini's best days are behind him.

I wonder sometimes if he rubbed someone wrongly, he was closest to India squad during the BG throhy where he terrorized Australians with his pace and bounce.
After that, he has injury issues, but whenever he was fit he never got the support at any level. The likes of Aaqib Khan and Ankit Rajpoot are leading UP bowling attack with Tyagi used as a first change or at times second change bowler.
He along with Kuldeep Sen has the potential to be a multi format bowler with Siraj & Bumrah, but unfortunately couldn't get a place even in one format.

Not giving chances to upcoming quicks is aimless thinking. 

 

Umesh is tried and tested and TM should start looking for replacements already, Saini is tried and failed he should not be in the plans at all.

Saini bowls beamers and full tosses for Yorkers, gets injured every time he plays. there are  other options available  

 

Not even 1 leftarm quick and they say Ind team needs LA quicks Mukesh Choudhary/Khalel Ahmed should have been there

Bowling alrounder but bowling alrounders are only useful if their bowling is good enough to survive at international level. He bowls at 128-132. Slower than Mukesh Kumar. We are heading back to Iqbal Siddiqui era under these selectors.

Yes Rohan is good investment along with Jaiswal .Seems at least some good direction for opener's slot.

I would have liked Mavi in A side ,hearing has come up well this season.  - he is better fit for 50 overs & Tests than T20, Tyagi more younger than MAVI and just coming out from injury. Better not risk him in longer format straight away , should try in one dayers for A side initially..

Think we have to give Nagarkoti and Mohsin khan chance immediately when they are fit as they both can be the 2 fast bowlers, who could maybe turn into allrounders as they both can bat well, I am told

siddiqui would be better than some of the trundlers being favored these days; he could at least bat better than some of current trundlers
