He never took his game to next level like a leader. 12 yeasr he is still bowling like how he bowled when he started. Ishant had the same issue. Could never lead the attack. But he had better skill sets which helped him for a couple of years. If we strictly talk about leaders in bowling department we have had very few. Kapil/Zaheer/Bumrah.
