Trundlers bowl at 5th class school girls pace, they will never get injured.
B Kumar suffered multiple injuries when he tried to bowl 140k, remained fit while bowling 130k.
Diet for the fast bowlers need to be monitored, they can't bowl 140+ conistently by relying only on carb rich food.

Mentioned this previously as well- this is v.common for Ind selectors not to pick high potential players.

No one wants to stick their neck-out, every1 wants to take a safer  bet because if those players fails these guys can say see went with domestic performaces he had stats and numbers in domestic and we can nt do anything if a particular player does not work out in intnl level. No one want to take any accountability fearing backslash

 

Vensarkar got backslash when he picked kohli. 

 

Its not that they do not know what works and what does not work at intnl level, even aus picks bowlers at early age, they know the longer they grind them in domestics the slower they will become and they will not have the full bag of skills. Apart from Ind do not see many teams picking up run of the mill bowlers.

 

Even bd,sl are good at picking high potential bowlers and if the combination fits right sa also induct faster bowlers early

So if the ball is seaming or spinning gill will not contribute and he is not t20 batter and hardly averages 35 playing @3 in test , why is there such an investment in him.

Our pace bowling quality has regressed massively.

Both of these - Siraj and Deep and outright trundlers these days. I don't think our bowling line-up has ever looked so innocuous and dull to watch in the past 10-12 years.
These clowns are gonna get their A**** handed over to them in Australia.

it is bcos of trundler lover selectors and guys like these who kinda make these medium pacers/trundlers to look big bowlers thats why guys like mayanka yadav/UMrran are not trained hard under good coaches like morkel.

GG is making the change and good fast bowlers are getting picked and trained under the nose of Morne morkel and trust me these fast bowlers once trained properly will be higely successfull.

big issue is not trundlers but trundlers getting selected and selectors who pick these trundlers as best pacers from INDIA and fans like these low IQ guys who dont understand who ever gets under the training of best coaches improve and genuine fast bowlers deserve that more than trundlers.

bhai 10000 bowlers hai INDIA mein jo 115 se 133 k bowling karte hai...should we pick few of them and train them or should we pick 7 among 25 bowlers who can bowl 130 to 145k. once  a bowler is coached well he can manage line n length even at pace. yes express pace bowlers find it tough.

see mayank was bowling correct line n lenth at 150K too....do u know mayank got a wicket of the first ball of the Match in a t20 match. 

Any cricketer in india ( even a district level) and any cricket coach in the world knows MAYANK YADAV today where as UNADKAT has played for some matches for India but do you think people know him.
