Harshit  4 wicket haul. ER of just 4.5

Dismisses Australia for 236.

This is what match practice does. We need to give our younger 140 k+ pacers lots of actual match practice. FC matches, ODIs and other List A matches especially

Prasidh looked rusty today as he was sitting on the bench.

Rana is getting unnecessary hate. He is not as bad as he made out to be. He is decent. Can bowl up to 140, fairly safe in the field and can use the long handle.

Rana is also getting unnecessary love. He is a good bench player but starting player in all 3 formats is a bit too much :puke:

But he is not a starting player in tests and T20s. Didn't play any test after Aus tour. Should be in the squad which is fine.

Rana. Can bowl up to 140,

He can bowl upto 148 k / 150 k when in rhythm.

Bowled upto 151 k in his debut T20I,  149 k in his debut ODI and bowled upto 149 k in his last T20I. Bowled upto 145 k in his 1st test.

Every young or newish player's " love ", " like" or " dislike " should be based on potential.

What they may become after 2 or 3 years. Because currently they are invariably work-in-progress.

Stroke-players, quick pacers and wrist spinners may take a bit more time to become finished products but often achieve much more than standard players if they become finished products.

Harshit was not part of the test squads against England and the West Indies. And does get to play T20Is only if 3 pacers are chosen or Bumrah is rested. Don't know why this is being propagated.

this management may be doing alot of things wrong, but the only thing they are doing it right is inducting Tall, fast,  hit the deck bowlers. Not sure why there is such a propaganda on this. There are many other problems. Gill getting into t20i Playing 11. Gill being Odi1 captain with no performance outside sc , yes sample is small but even in sc he has not got runs in big matches and big teams.

Pretty sure Kolhi and Rohit has some kind of deal where they will retire from test and T20i for a place in Odis. Its just media making things-up and may be some pr/fanbase wants to keep a constant pressure but its clear they are locked for WC-27 .

The realistic thing is Rohit and Kolhi are still the biggest earner in Ind cricket.

he is not bad at all. He is pretty quick. As a matter of fact, he is the only bowler who has potential. This campaign is manufactured targeting against another genuine quickie we have. This has become so predictable.

of all the people, Srikant talking about errors and bias in selection has to be the most laughable moment! Srikkant was one of the most bias, selfish, self centred selector that India has ever had. Whatever gives him the right to comment on others? I find him totally disgusting and cringe. Very few selfish and self centred, power hungry people down to his gutter depth that I have seen.

And btw, whenever I see all these so called ' commentators and experts' talking in unison about one player, it is a no-brainer for me that it is manufactured campaign to either malign someone's image or elevate someone. Remember the campaign about " Mukesh Kumar" being one in a million bowler? When all commentators and experts used to say Mukesh was exceptional?

And how did Mukesh turn out to be? Well, Rana is the opposite of that. This guy is a genuine scary bowler. And ofcourse, he is  no match against Md Shami. Shami is a generational bowler. But Rana is genuinely good too.
