The broadcast has been terrible. Not showing speeds for some deliveries, showing multiple speeds for certain deliveries. All over the place.

They now came up with the speed of a ball even before it was bowled.  (  And it was not the speed of the last ball of the last over as it was shown too )

Bumrah has bowled a fastest of 143 kph till his 4th over though.

Bumrah bowls his 5th over at 140 k to 142 k

 

Has got consistent movement both ways today.

 

And bowled some really good balls that were edged but did not carry or just missed the edge.

Bumrah, Shami and Siraj need to bowl a few bouncers from time to time ... to push the batters back and stop their feet from moving decisively.

 

Don't know why they don't do this !!

Want to see if they do that to moeen n curran that to a barage of bouncers, thats their weakness or else those two will change the momentum completely

Definitely.

 

But even to others, atleast 1 bouncer per over must be tried unless the ball is swinging like crazy.  It makes the batters circumspect about coming forward and will induce more edges.

its a slow pitch.Short ball would sit up unless its fast like Wood's.

 

I think later on cutters might be useful too with a midwicket placed.

yea shami and booms have brutal bouncers. so does siraj. need to try it asap.

Bumrah, Shami and Siraj have enough pace to bowl good or even nasty bouncers on slowish pitches.

 

They have done it regularly on even slower and lower pitches in India.

 

In England, it is more a mindset issue that we will only move the ball.
