Always bat 1st in a pressure game .... (remember 2003 WC final) Doesn't matter even if Ind gets bowled out for 220-230. Defending 225 is better than having to chase 300 or more .... No matter what the quality of the pitch is, there is a high probability that top teams can get 300 or more vs. our bowling attack .... if we get bundled out for for <180-200 (and we don't even follow it up with a good bowling performance), we deserved to lose anyways :dontknow:

Its a good batting track. Not much swing or seam movement. 300 is a par score and if you put runs on the board, it will always be an advantage. Good decision to bat first.
