Pollack
Suspect his batting under movement But so does Rohit Sharma. @velu First decide who is next Rohit Sharma, Karun Nair or Shreyas Iyer. And why do you want so many Rohit Sharma. Ankit_sharma03

sarcastic
BUMP. Suddenly seemed to up his game too as a captain.... The beast mode he got into reminds one of the HitMan. Will be interesting to see how he captains his side tonight!!! @maniac anna, you would be the right one to judge this issue. Let your opinion here! And what Harsha has to say about him a few months ago: "The next big thing from Indian Cricket" maniac and velu

Scar
ON a slighly quickish pitch on a slightly bigger ground he would have been gone. These are international level player, he would've adapted there as well. Don't let you bias against him to undercut his innings. Some of his sixes were 80+. Garuda
Yes. He will continue to shine in the IPL and will be rubbish anywhere else. My God I had some hope that he will get better, but you surely destroyed it by comparing with No-hit Edited April 27, 2018 by Garuda
King Tendulkar
Yes. He will continue to shine in the IPL and will be rubbish anywhere else. My God I had some hope that he will get better, but you surely destroyed it by comparing with No-hit He is 23 only . Isn’t there a possibility learnt a lot from his india experience . Gone away and worked on his game and will and is coming back as better player ? no idea if above is true as now better player . But would not be first player in cricket history to go through this process amazing how on icf we dismiss and throw on rubbish heap a 23 year old Garuda, Scar and maniac

Straight Drive
Shreyas proved me wrong today. Thought he lacked power, but he got a lot into the stands. Not some one like Rishabh or Sanju, but definitely not as powerless as i thought.

But at 23, these players had proved something Sachin Dravid Ganguly Kohli Kumble Srinath Zaheer Bhaji Sehwag Rohit sharma (But his lazy elegance had stopped from making the next step to test cricket) We have a prime form KLRahul and he is not getting chances velu

Straight Drive
he can easily clear ropes.. he is still quite awkward playing genuine pacers It seemed he wasn't connectimg well, still it went for six. Or else perhaps it was my perception about his power hitting that gave me a feel it was a bad hit.
maniac
Good player but have doubts against his ability against genuine pace.....Rohit is hailed as one of the best 6 hitters of all time because of his ability to dispatch 155+ bowling(without movement preferred) with ease...Iyer's ability to hit genuine pace is still doubtful...Hope for India's sake he is as good as Rohit in LOI's at the international level raki05
Pollack
This IPL has been weird. Dhoni, Manati Rayudu and now Shreyas Iyer are crazy power hitters.
Ankit_sharma03
Ha ha no, this guy is far away from rohit sharma. Rohit is one of the best players of Pace whereas this guy will struggle against high pace. Not at all convinced about him , dnt think so he ll make it that big at international level . Shubhamn gill looks far better then him right now, once h plays 2-3 of domestic n India-A cricket ...he wud be a beast Chakdephatte and raki05
Straight Drive
Another impressive aspect of his batting is he identifies the bowler who needs to be thrashed for runs and executes that plan well. A lot of batters have plans but fail to execute. Scored 28 runs in the last over of Shivam. 4 sixer's and 1 four. The ability to destroy a bowler in one over is a great one to possess. That's a big plus to know he can score 28 in one over. Need batsman like these who can totally dominate the bowlers.
