RedFever Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Congrats to Bhuvi for getting the worst bowling figures for India in ODI and the second worst overall. Surpasses the legend Vinay Kumar. Most runs conceded in an inningsPlayerOversMdnsRunsWktsEcon TeamOppositionGroundMatch DateScorecardML Lewis10.00113011.30 Australiav South AfricaJohannesburg12 Mar 2006ODI # 2349B Kumar10.00106110.60 Indiav South AfricaMumbai25 Oct 2015ODI # 3700MC Snedden12.0110528.75 New Zealandv EnglandThe Oval9 Jun 1983ODI # 197TG Southee10.00105010.50 New Zealandv IndiaChristchurch8 Mar 2009ODI # 2823BV Vitori9.00105111.66 Zimbabwev New ZealandNapier9 Feb 2012ODI # 3234JO Holder10.02104110.40 West Indiesv South AfricaSydney27 Feb 2015ODI # 3616R Vinay Kumar9.00102111.33 Indiav AustraliaBangalore2 Nov 2013ODI # 3428 On a positive note, like Sehwag Bhuvi also bought up his century with a six.
kosingh Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Bhuvi was a good bowler. Then he was a good bowler in some conditions but not others. Now he's not a good bowler in any condition.Irfan Pathan part II.

He was never good on flat pitches. Give him conditions, he will do well again. Give me one series where he did well in flat pitches.
philcric Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Mohit Sharma (7-0-84-1) would have easily been on top of the list if he had finished his quota of 10 overs.Would have been a new record of 2 bowlers going for 100+ in the same match for the same team.India would be 'leading' the table with 3 bowlers with 100+ runs.
Laaloo Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 He's only playing because of his good looks. No homo
misty Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Karnataka captain, vinay kumar, gave 9/0/105/0 vs australia playing for india, when rohit hits 16 sixes in his 209 but kumar 10/0/106/1 yesterday was a gift,Girls like him, i do not.
Adi_91 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I still believe BK has a lot to offer (bowling and more imp batting wise) compared to 'Axe'ar Patel.
rkt.india Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 I still believe BK has a lot to offer (bowling and more imp batting wise) compared to 'Axe'ar Patel. He has nothing to offer batting wise.
Adi_91 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 He has nothing to offer batting wise.He at least looks okay as a batsman. The rest of our lower order is seriously worth nothing when it comes to batting abilities.
Debutant Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 BK has completely forgotten how to swing the ball. With his pace and no movement, he is cannon fodder. In the death overs, he will bowl either short or full toss. Irfan Pathan 2 indeed.

Steyn didnt swing the ball too.
Gollum Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Bhuvi is useless on flat pitches, like the rest of his team mates.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 N yet Dhoni says bowler with more pace were leaking more runs. If u c every match bhuvneshwar was almost going 8 an over , in the end which he saved by bowling at tail. Ganguly on aaj tak - what worst cud aaron have done , u need pace on flat wickets. U already have bhuvi n mohit y wud u select arvind another 125K bowler Rightarmfast and adi B 2
Debutant Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 ball does not swing in India at least in this weather. You need conditions to swing the ball. Steyn didnt swing the ball too.So should we just keep playing him and hoping that he gets appropriate conditions to bowl well. Why are you comparing him with Styne. Styne is not a one trick pony like this guy and it looks like Bhubaneswar has forgotten that one trick too.

G_B_ Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 truth be told i thought before odi 5 indian bowlers did quite ok in the series.
Debutant Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 He has been playing because even if he does not take wickets in unhelpful conditions, still he would keep it tight.Yeah, he has been quite economical of late
