GautiMaan Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 While there is no denying the potential that Pandya has,it doesnt look like he will be needed with the bat,more so in the subcontinent.In this case would it be better to play a spinner(Mishra/Kuldeep) or a pacer(Shami) in his place? adi B 1
vayuu1 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 You have to be completely out of ur mind to drop him, I will definitely play him,since he is a rare quick seam bowling allrounder we have been looking for, plus a brilliant fielder not to forget one of the cleanest and big striker of ball, infact I will also add hooda to squad, giving us more options. GautiMaan Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 In T20's our top order is going to bat the majority of overs,even Dhoni will be under utilized as a batsman let alone Hardik.Playing a bowler who will consistently give us four overs is better imo.Hardik should deffo be in the squad though

To me, he looks like he is ready for International Cricket and I like his fielding as well. He may have to work on his bowling though. But Ashwin/ Jaddu/ Mishra/ Nehra/ Ishant as last 5 and Dhoni at 6 our batting will rely heavily on top. Balance have to be there. diehardpacer 1

G_B_ Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 well if he is being smashed in Aus, in theory in India which is not pro pace bowlers he is more likely to be smashed.In which case you will be banking on Raina to cover his quota in the middle overs.
