fineleg Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Shoddy?Comments, you folks watched the U-19 matches. Fielding skills?
rkt.india Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 no. Their fielding has been really good throughout the tournament. Just this game, they slipped a bit and that is due to pressure.

nsareen Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Yes they made mistakes but they would learn, there was a bit of overconfidence though in Pant, which I dint like, maybe IPL affected himSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes they made mistakes but they would learn, there was a bit of overconfidence though in Pant, which I dint like, maybe IPL affected himSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk JaFanatic 1
Debutant Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 WTF. Indian fielding was very very good throughout the tournament. Some of the fielding in the ring has been exceptional. Today they made some mistakes but overall they are a very good fielding unit.
Adi_91 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 They were a bit shoddy against Nepal, but they are young so, I am sure they will learn.
GautiMaan Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 It was good to see that the batsmen in the lower order were able to contribute with handy cameos even though we lost wickets after the 40th over,it ensured a good total. This is sorely missing in the senior team.

youngindia Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 The depth in batting talent is amazing...we may have two pools of classy batsmen competing for 6 spots in the national team in the future, would be a pity some of these players could have a sucessful career for one of our neighbours and may not find it easy to displace the best 6 of them express bowling 1
adi B Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Fielding has been good tbh, catching especially.this indian team has the perfect combination for any kind of surface with 2 pacers,1 pace AR and 2 spinners express bowling 1
express bowling Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Fielding has been good tbh, catching especially.this indian team has the perfect combination for any kind of surface with 2 pacers,1 pace AR and 2 spinnersVery nice combination of bowlers and all-rounders. There is a spinner AR too in Dagar who batted before Batham and was hitting the ball powerfully.
fineleg Posted February 14, 2016 Author Posted February 14, 2016 Yup shoddy fielding. in Finals as well?
beetle Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 in Finals as well? These Champus !!!Right finey.....
vvvslaxman Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Keeper is not natural . He is terrible. That i can say. S Khan catch is catchable. I can forgive him for not reacting too quickly. Avesh Khan's catch was easier one. If you are talking about ground fielding they were good. Especially inside 30 yard circle. They were able to pick and throw in one action frequently and accurately.
sourab10forever Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 As usual ground fielding has been good.catching can be improved but nothing alarming.Only Finals was an exception. Those Catches cost us the match and the cup.
