Its almost over for them , They need India to loose 1 game ,   and beat Aus with big margin and still they need all mathematical calculations  for their teams to qualify

Pak is ahead of Aus in NRR so it does not need to beat Aus by a huge margin. It needs to beat Aus and also hope that the results of the other games go its way:

In my book, it is just the lack of skills relative to NZ's (and other top teams) that has caused Pak's downfall .... I guess, many fans find it hard to accept that Pak is not really a top cricket team so try to blame other factors .... And to be frank, it is not even an interesting side to watch anymore, apart from Amir's bowling (and some slogging at times) 

If Pak gets knocked out of this event, I think Pak would need to do well consistently in at least 2-3 next World events before their fans can start thumping their chests and make claims such as it is a powerhouse or whatever

Pakistani fans like fixers tag more than losers tag. what a pathetic fans a cricket country can have. I would take loser indian team than a fixer indian team.  At Least they have honesty if not skills.

That will be a disaster for the broadcasters and even ICC, let alone the fans. And tbh, India has the best chance among the SC teams to beat other teams. Now that BD are almost gone and Pak are in trouble to qualify.

To keep Pak fans interested, in '92 miracle did happen with some games getting washed out 

For Pak to qualify: 

• BD beats Ind
• Pak beats Aus 
• NZ beats BD

In 1996 you were 115/2 in QF against india in 15 over , you barely require 163 in 35 overs with very good team yet you lost , This is an old problem of Pak to crumble in middle overs.

Most of Pak win's came through very good bowling and restricting teams batting second

We cant compare Today's T20 with 20 year old ODI... Although yes that has been problem for Pak but this was more of blunder than prob

I'm suspicious... Can't believe they were not able to score a singly boundary in the last 5 overs.. They tried hard to score in the front of the wicket where as they could've easily scored some boundaries behind the wicket... It looks suspicious that they didn't even tried... There was no intent to build on the excellent start provided by Sharjeel...

Lack of batting talent is alarming. Bowling is not great either, but I feel like sooner or later, they'l get a nice crop of bowlers. The current bowling issues is just a temporary slump.

But batting issues? Whatever happened to the Inzamams, Saeed Anwars, Javed Miandads? Heck even Mohammad Yousufs? 

Right now even  Aamer Sohail, Rameez Raja, Salim Malik and Ijaz Ahmed seem Bradmanesque,

They need better more consistent batsmen in their team. Veteran players like Umar Akmal seem to only have one good game in 4-5 games. Bowling is good but NZ and Guptill especially was to good on that day.

Pakistan were so stupid in their chase that it was inexplicable (even though they have a great history of screwing up chases) .

From 7 overs 75/0 to 12 overs 96/2 ,this was the time when they totally lost the momentum ,with the start they got they should have at least got close to the total if not win comfortably but losing by 22 runs was mind boggling.

Is there not a single new exciting batsman in Pak (and SL also). Both teams keep recycling Akmal,Shehzad,Kapugedara,Thirimane and expect different results  Even Bangbros are getting some new guys like Sabbir who seem better.

Nothing odd or suspicious imo . Shezad completely killed the momentum , poor player of spin and has no shots out of power plays . The rest of the batsmen panicked and where blindly slogging . I think 2-3 overs to go , they kind off gave up  . Lack of skill as well as self belief .

yeah ,they were still in the game with 58 required of 5 and 4 wkts in the kitty ,most of the team would have fancied their chances but Pakistan just slogged blindly and stepped down the track like buffoons for balls wide outside off
