They tried hard to score in the front of the wicket where as they could've easily scored some boundaries behind the wicket... It looks suspicious that they didn't even tried... There was no intent to build on the excellent start provided by Sharjeel...There is nothing suspicious about pakistan failing to score a mammoth total, believe you me even when sharjeel was going all guns blazing i always felt that new zealand were just a wicket away from victory, that was of sharjeels, i was confident that pakistan would fail to chase those runs, it was a blunder to open bowling with santner and anderson which shifted the momentum in pakistans favour. This was a new bowlers wicket, i would have started with milne and mcleghanan straightaway. Edited March 22, 2016 by Sean Bradley

I guess 7/10 teams wouldv done from that position...

Come on...Sharjeel smacked 10 boundaries...the rest SIX between them. That is not on in modern cricket. Maybe the issues are deeper.
Singh bling Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 I watched the programme of Jadeja on PTV after Asia cup loss and in that he said " AAP ppore saal tayari nahi karoge to parcha to kharaab ho gaa hi" Pak fans should put pressure on politicians to improve in their cricket , how come they just expect Pak to win crunch games? Also stop hyping players after their 1 match or 1 series performance , you become great in cricket after you performed consistently and not because of 1 match adi B and sandeep 2

chewy Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 nothing suspicious, pakistan just don't have the power hitting game like the other teams, even the current Bangla team are better and stronger than pakistan in the hitting department.i think from the major playing nations pakistan has overall the lowest strike rate as a team, no wonder they are poor chasers of big score,They can't hit sixes on consistent basis.

The rest of the batsmen panicked and where blindly slogging . I think 2-3 overs to go , they kind off gave up . Lack of skill as well as self belief .

I guess 7/10 teams wouldv done from that position...In 1996 you were 115/2 in QF against india in 15 over , you barely require 163 in 35 overs with very good team yet you lost , This is an old problem of Pak to crumble in middle overs.Most of Pak win's came through very good bowling and restricting teams batting second
