One gr8 thing with dravid was his field setting which were damn aggresive, no matter what the guy always had slips. These ideas can take team long way in overseas But What this team needs most is a gud exp bowling coach like zaheer khan. Sa, Bang was helped by the fact of having someone like donald and streak by their side. We have someone like zaheer and there no point having him in commentry box. Zaheer attributes of being one of most skillfull and aggresive bowler can help this team. The main requirement of this team is a bowling coach and we have a perfect candidate in zaheer. Someone who can teach our bowlers discipline and how to get out of tough situations. tweaker 1
sscomp32 Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Dravid is a fantastic choice and hope he accepts, he can teach youngsters how to play spin and how to catch in slips. Two of our biggest problem in recent years.

You have a settled core of talented players who know their specific roles..a manager or a mentor would be enough IMO.. Would be great to see Ravi returning to com box ASAP..missed his golden voice sorely in CWC 15 and WT20.. it just doesn't feel like a world cup without hearing Ravi's booming voice Lala and adi B 2

Shane Warne is possibly the best Option...first IPL was won by RR. I see Shane as a very shred clever strategist. He will always keep a leg spinner and get spinners to the next level. mean while he will be assisted by bharat arun and others...so a combo of Australian attitude and experience and Indian assistance will do wonders for INDIAN team.

So most probably somebody who is agreeable to Dhoni might get selected. You all know Dhoni hates Leggies and hence Warne has no chance even if he agrees to become coach... Sehwag is a huge YES !
