Lets not put IPL and BCCI angles in it. If players are criticising their the board even after being crowned as world champions there must be some serious concern wrt  WICB treatment to players.

Cricket is doing well in India because of our strong fan base and in Australia and England to preserve the old tradition of Ashes cricket. Rest of the world seems to have moved on and doesn't care about the game anymore.

Which rest of the world you are talking about ? South Asia is still cricket crazy, the craze only declined in Carribean but with 3 victories cricket will pick up again their.In Southern Africa it was always white minority game and we have hardly seen their black players , so it is bit diffiicult for them with their racial policy.Apart from the above their never was any cricket world

You can include our desi folks from Pak, Bang, SL and to some extent Afghanistan. But apart from them, I don't see this sport being globalized.

I dont know which other sport apart from football is more globalised than cricket. Most of countries where English ruled play cricket. And English ruled allmost whole work apart from latin America and parts of Africa.

In the few interactions i have had with Pak/BD they detest being called desi, they have left us and are no more our countrymen or out people etc. SL are not desi they are a neighbouring country from antient times, Afgan lol take a look at them they are pashtoons and more central asian than south asian.

He's only saying that because he plays in the IPL. But WICB seriously needs a complete rejig. With the egos of the current administration, they are just not going to be able to resolve differences with the players.
