No way to "recover" per say. It can be controlled with constant medical care unfortunately. It is Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Arrhythmia.

Understood..He cant comeback now right? I read somewhere Surgery is pending.

No comeback to cricket. HIs cricket career is over. 

 

Forget cricket, he should focus on living a healthy life, stress free. Hopefully, ECB will take care of him financially.

No sports then only Journalism or some office work....Sad how his life turned around so qucikly..

 

Don't they test these type of stuff during regular medical examination for International sportsmen?

Heard it yesterday morning when news channels were flashing it as breaking news. In his short international sting, he has been very promising for team England. Hope he lives long healthy stress free life

This is heartbreaking news. :(( Was one of the most promising young cricketers in england. Although he might never play cricket again, I hope he gets well and ECB gives him a full time commentator job for all england matches around the world. All the best for future.
