HippoSucks Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Dhoni was never a great T20 batsman. What makes you think relieving him as a captain will improve his batting significantly? People are taking the IPL too seriously. Captaincy never had a lot of impact in the IPL.

Four changes and they also dropped their best Indian batsman as well in Vohra. Middle order batting failed again but the bowling helped them win the match. Positive was getting rid of Abbot/Johnson was the main reason and replacing with the allrounder Stoinis.

tweaker Posted May 2, 2016 Author Posted May 2, 2016 Dhoni should change his habit of playing same team & should try Usman Khwaja, as overseas player.He can also strengthen his bowling attack by selecting Deepak Chahar,Ishwar Pandey & Irfan Pathan. Ajinkya Rahane may be rested & Ankush Bains may be tried in his slot for few matches.Also he can make use of Baba Aparajith,Ishant Sharma,R P Singh ,Jaskaran Singh as per the situation. After loosing so many matches, he should certainly make some changes in the squad. express bowling 1
