Obviously he runs between wickets very fast, but its not the ideal in shorter format (Eg-19* in 17 balls). So he should give his place to a youngster and join with Indian athletic team soon, at least he will be able to get bronze meddle for 100m men's event in Olympics I guess

True, selectors bcci and ppl have to understand teams are build for future not from past. By that logic no gr8 shud have retired. Aus example is best they change captain when the next is ready even if current one has time left. Here we wait till he reaches to dumps and there is no way left and therefor our cricket suffers

 

i think this Decision  in indian cricket is beyond selectors. Its in hand of BCCI at the end of the day and Sachin , sourav, laxman will heavily influence it. Sourav is very clear regd making virat captain n so has shastri spoken its time other come forward. Which i feel will depend on this yr were there is test cricket. If he keeps winning things wud b easy and any loss can create problem. 

 

For me its high dhoni thinks about his personal game and shud leave the captaincy n his whole focus wud shift to his batting and thinsg wud improve. HE wud play more fearlessly and wud throw caution out of the wind. As i said his bhakts r blind like of ganguly they wud want him to keep captaincy for sake of ego n in the end thing will only go downwards only. Blind ppl stuck in past are no gud to anyone.
