India batsman Rohit Sharma will travel to London next week for treatment on his thigh injury, which has ruled him out of cricket for at least 10 to 12 weeks. This means he is almost certain to miss the limited-overs leg of the England tour, and also puts him in doubt for the one-off Test against Bangladesh, which will be played early in February. It is possible he might have to undergo surgery.
