gakgupta Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Very good emerging test player , played very well against Pakistan There is a certain calmness about him....but he has too many holes in his technique Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk tweaker 1

gattaca Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 (edited) This is test match cricket. You are supposed to play like that.good find for West Indies. Edited November 3, 2016 by gattaca tweaker 1
Sonix768 Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Guy won 4 or so man of the match against good opponents. And played a legendary innings. Also he is just 23.. Hope he continues for good. tweaker 1
Cricketics Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Windies need to ensure that they keep such players well groomed and give them enough chances even if he has some failures in future. Their habit of consistently dropping and changing players is what has caused them more than their poor attitude towards their senior players. Time for them to stick to one unit and give them time. sandeep Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 Samuels has been past his sell-by date for a while. He cost them the 1st test match with his 2nd innings failure on a flat batting track where the pink ball was doing nothing for the bowlers. Imagine - Windies could have won the series if they had scored 20-30 more runs in the 1st test. Blackwood is shaping up to be the next samuels - he has some ability, but needs proper guidance and coaching. Best thing for windies is that they finally have a handful of bowlers with decent potential. Gabriel, Cummins, young Alzarri. Holder is a tall Stuart Binny who needs to figure out whether he wants to use his height and become a bowler, or just stay as a filler 4th bowler. They now have a decent opener in Braithwaite, a decent MO bat in Bravo, a good #6 in Roston Chase, and the keeper Dowrich can bat a bit. There is enough there to build a quality test team. But only if they keep developing in the right direction. Windies can get better, but their board and politics keep getting in the way. Its too bad, I'd much rather see a strong west indies team than this BS. Sid_SuhaiL, Cricketics and tweaker 3
Vilander Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 this name braithwaite i have heared for the first time, and there are two of them in the team and one guy looks like a statue the 6'7" one. It reminds me of ringwraith. tweaker 1
maniac Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Good player...now if Blackwood and chase turn out to be the players I predict them to be(going by my credentials a good shot) then wi have a solid test line up with bravo Jr. in the mix as well tweaker 1

No, not necessarily. He plays at the same albeit the situation. Good, but barely an impact player. Boring to the mighty core!

Malcolm Merlyn Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Braithwaite has been very good in last 12 months.
-Robin- Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Brathwaite, Chase, Dowrich are good finds of Windies. tweaker 1
