gakgupta Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 3 centuries in the last 3 innings but for a fan it will be never enough. After the century, he is forcing the issue and getting out. He is giving away his wicket. I think , he is trying to impress someone. He should calm down and stop impressing people around. He should play his natural game which is big hundreds. By far, he is the best player of spin bowling right now. Sent from my XT1068 using Tapatalk Mosher, Vilander, maniac and 3 others 6
Jimmy Cliff Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Agreed 100%. He should ignore all this #intent bollocks and play his natural game. He's good enough to strike at around 50 anyway which is perfectly fine in Tests.
SUMO Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 next time when he gets hundred, he will concentrate harder to go for 200 for sure. tweaker 1
putrevus Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 He really missed out on big hundred, we need those big hundreds from , he is only player in this team when he is in form, he has that solidity and he is consistent and makes his form count. Cricketics and tweaker 2
sandeep Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 His wicket is the difference between being on-course for 550+ and where we are now. And add to that Rahane's failure. With M00li giving it away, I was hoping Pujara will score a nice double to set the game up. Its ok, he can do it in the next test gakgupta and tweaker 2

He is a good batsman, he should aim to get a distance between him and Kohli and play his game, force himself. Once he controls his game he can control whats happening around him.
Tibarn Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 He was playing his natural game though. When he is in form, even when he made his debut, he would rapidly accelerate when he got in, usually after his 50. He would especially go after spinners He just lost concentration this time.
Laaloo Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 This guy is just too good against spinners. The ability to convert full deliveries into low full tosses by coming down the track is phenomenal. He knows exactly where the fielders are. And he keeps it all along the ground too. He's good against pace too. Just need a second tour to all these places to change his stats. This guy is a good player. If only he didnt have bum knees. Sensational player. putrevus and Mosher 2
SUMO Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Of late his dodgy knees were restraining him from stepping down to spinners. seems like he's got over it, footwork is really quick now as was 2-3 years back.

I didn't like Kohli yelling at him, when there was a mis-communication in running between the wickets.... Just on pure comparison, Puji is better test player than kohli but you see kohli yelling at him. Puji...get the spine mate tweaker 1
