Bogus Endian
Sayin it again..yo!! Not the main culprit but one of the less highlighted indeed. Mr. Saha..good wicket keeper but very poor batsman. Only wicket keeping is not everything. With this sort of absurd batting, Sahas selection isn't justified. Let's be honest he's not Boucher in Wicket keeping. (Boucher still was a very fine batsman). Look at other teams wicket keepers, all are good batsman. De kock, Tom Latham, Sarfarz all are in fact one of their top batting stars in tests. Hack even Bangladesh has better test wicket keeping batsman with Mushfiq and the other guy Das. Zimbabwean Taylor too. Edited January 8, 2018 by Bogus Endian Frustrated and Rasgulla 1 1 Link to comment

Time to find a WK who can hold bat Link to comment

Latham is a very fine batsmen . Mushfiq would have been decent , offcourse there is no way to be sure ..infact overall every team has poor wk-bat these days , but that doesnt mean we have to live with one . Yes he is no boucher ,He is better than him.Wicket keeping to spinners is always harder and Saha is one of the best gloveman in last 20 years even with bat he has won us matches .He AVG 45 last year .One test is not enough. jusarrived
Guys , forget Dhoni ..his days are over . Moving on Saha is definitely not a solution , hes a no8 or lower in these conditions and this will continue to hurt the balance of the side . very simple , Costs us a extra bat/bowler . Forgot about Latham but Saha is a better keeper by distance. Mushfiqar lol. The problem with our test team unlike our odi and t20 teams, we don't really have a replacement wk. Can't play pappu or dk because they would score 50 and give away 200 because of missed stumpings and dropped catches. Saha plays because of the TINA factor. Link to comment

BeautifulGame
Still the biggest stupidity is playing Parthiv Patel when Saha got injured against England. Should have tried Pant and would have known how capable he was. It was one of the most brain dead decisions of recent times. Gollum, Jimmy Cliff, SecondSlip and 1 other 4 Link to comment

Mushfiq has 26 average in RSA.. you are talking to a fool with agenda.. He knows nothing Rsa - kock Nz - latham Eng - johnny Aus - paine - who is doing well ( they replaced their version of saha wade recently ) Bd - mushi Looks like his standards of keepers are WI and ZIM Link to comment
BeautifulGame
Do people even realize Newzealand wicket keeper in tests is Watling and he is a very good batsman . And he averages 35 in South Africa before anyone comes up with the nonsense he is a rubbish batsman Edited January 8, 2018 by BeautifulGame Link to comment
