Even when english commentators were praising Mumbai city , he started finding the problems with the city. Yes Mumbai/India has its own problems, but why can't he focus on the good stuffs

Yeah, that was funny.. and when discussing crowd, he wandered off into some tangent about him batting at the Wankhede, etc.

He's always been that way - even as a player he always lacked self belief.  As a commentator, he invariably voices the pessimistic or fearful view of what could go wrong.  Today, he kept harping on - "only Karun Nair and Parthiv patel to come next".

Never has anything interesting to say, because he's very political and wants to avoid controversy at all costs.  So when he's not being annoyingly pessimistic, he's back to being dull and boring.  With occasional flashes of effusive praise sycophantic chamcha style.

Whineleg of commentators.

Remember the days when everytime Tendulkar hit the ball in the air Sanju used to go "after a long time I've seen him loft the ball" or "this is the first time in a long time that he's batted like this blah blah". Used to piss me off bigtime.

Sanju is a lunatic:crazy:, he and those who like his commentary deserve to be locked up in an mental asylum.

Ya Botham was praising Mumbai, suddenly Sanju started talking about the 2005 floods and couldn't remember the year it occurred. :whack2:

Check this out: 2nd Test Toss by Sanju

He had one job to ask what the decision of the captain who wins the toss. Even a 10yr old would have done a better job.:whack::whack3:

Now going after Kohli. How his avg is inflated by 2nd innings Not Outs.

This guy is a joke of an analyst and commie.

and besides he still averages 40+ in 1st innings which is excellent

Siva keeps slaughtering our bowlers, partculrly leggies as he of course thinks is leg spin guru

However, saying all this great to see them now having freedom of speech to criticise indian tactics and players.  Great change from the Srini/Dhoni era when it was see no evil, hear no evil

After scoring a double hundred against padosis in their own galli against a young Wasim and veteran Imran, also a brilliant 100 in Barbados against Marshall, Walsh, Ambrose and Bishop, he certainly had very high expectations from himself. But he couldn't make it big, that's just the way sport is, so he turned pessimistic about everything.

Maybe his love for padosis stems from his highest score being against them.

Also remember that unfortunate Sharjah series against Pakistan where we lost in final when Aquib Javed took 7 wickets. Sanju was best player that tournament and I remember him overshadowing Sachin also
