Chennai weather/pitch condition

I remember having camped up in the queue the previous night for purchasing ticket for the Ind / Pak test in 1999. The test that was famous for Sachin's back pain century and India losing by 16 runs after his exit.

That was my first test match watching live in stadium .[emoji4]

My first was the QF between Aus n Kiwis in 96 .The atmosphere that day was just crazy .

Awesome. The 96 QF was the first Day Night match in Chennai. I was so excited back then. Lapped it up. I was away from Chennai then (Engineering between 1995 and 1999) but whenever there was a match in Chennai, I would just be there. It sickening that many matches got washed out though. 

Which stand do you like best? In the old stadium, my favorite was D stand with those wooden benches :)

After the renovation in 2011, I have been to the stadium only twice and haven't found a favorite yet
