Unlikely he will survive the rigors of County cricket with such a fragile body. Unfortunately, I don't see him playing Tests again unless he decides to play the upcoming Ranji season where his workload can be better managed. He's rushed his comeback in the past only to get injured again. This time, should not get back to the national side after bowling a few overs in SMA or List A matches.

Why would a county team pick an overseas player for just 3-4 games? Plus this year, with Kolpak system gone, competition for overseas spots will be far more tougher. Counties will likely prefer players who can commit for the entire season

Nikhil_cric Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 What I've noticed with Siraj is that he cant brac that front leg at all. Loses a lot on terms of release height and pace. Only bumrah bowls with a fully braced front leg from our team. :(

Chahar and Sandeep can't.
