This pitch gives Oz their best chance to pull out a win.    Ash and Sir don't need a crumbler to work their magic - this track brings Starc, Lyon and O'keefe into the game.  

 

Bad toss to lose, but bad pitch preparation.  It looks like elephants danced on the pitch on day 1 after 20 overs.  Not good.

To allow starc to score more runs will be criminal. But I don't think okeefe and starc will much of an affect. Lyon yes.

This is what frustrates me when you respond to my posts witjh inane nonsense and attribute it to me.  Where did I call it flat or one with decent bounce?  Or a minefield for that matter?    

 

My point is that the track makes it easy for average spinners to be effective and is breaking up enough already for high quality quicks to be effective if they attack the stumps.  Indian spinners do not need such a track to be effective.    

 

I know you have comprehension handicaps, but try to stay away from total idiocy.  If you can.  Good luck.

This pitch looks far worse than it is. We have to wait till India bats. My gut feeling will be that India will score around 400 on this pitch and then bundle out Aussies for cheaply. Starc could be one Aussie bowler who could trouble Indian batsmen if gets the ball to reverse like Umesh Yadav did. Having said that, the pitch did not look very good on the first day with very uneven bounce. Definitely not a very good pitch. And the curator had no clue when he said "The ball will fly on this pitch". He must be trying to deceive the Aussies or he is just clueless.
