CG
Unless Saaha comes up with a back against the wall 50 he needs to be dropped. His keeping is poor with many dropped chances and his batting is not good enough He has been brilliant behind the stumps. express bowling, Mosher and kira 3 Link to comment

Gollum
Saha is the best keeper in the world atm. Suicidal to drop him if our alternative is Parthiv Patel. Saha is a gritty team man who can get the vital 20s and 30s down the order, he isn't a great batsman tbh but a real trier. For overseas matches his batting can't be worse than Dhoni's...heck he has a 100 in WI while Dhoni was a cropper (bar his Lord's innings in 2007, 2nd dig) outside Asia. Our management has to back him and give him confidence...he looks like a bheegi billi in the field right now. kira and express bowling 2 Link to comment

He is the best keeper India has at the moment, his tailend batting can only improve which is at the moment worse that Jadeja. express bowling 1 Link to comment

This claim is bit amusing .On what basis are we saying , he is the best keeper in India .Non of us watch much Ranji apart from the few telecasted ones so judging keeping skills is always speculative. Gautham for example looks pretty good as a keeper from what I have seen.Don't see any difference in quality with Saha . Saha got into the team based on his batting skills in the first place leapfrogging other options. So if he continues to bat like tail ender can't justify his place. If he is struggling this bad at home how awful will he seriously in places like SA or England?Modern teams can't afford to have wk bat as tail enders. Clearly Kohli and Kumble believe in him so hopefully he can improve his form. Edited March 6, 2017 by BeautifulGame Link to comment

Indian conditions have been most challenging for batsman along with srilanka. You get roads in AUS and NZ also has some flat tracks,Even SA picthes have gotten flatter. Link to comment

SA pitches have bounce and pace even if lacks lateral movement. And they have started to ensure it has lateral movement too.Check the recent Lanka series. As for England , it depends a lot more on conditions than the pitch. Aussies obviously roads. Link to comment
speedheat
Now this time I agrees with you, even when we were thrashing England and nz the only weak link in our batting I thought was saha certainly can't be a best wicket keeper batsman but we have to persist with him until we find good enough replacement He is very very nervous to start but then somehow Settles down Link to comment
maniac
Will Saha do worse than MSD our greatest keeper bat while batting overseas? keeping it's a no brainer who is better Link to comment

SLICKR392
Well, if he bats like Dhoni does in overseas, then he should be dropped. Unlike Dhoni, the selectors and coach have the liberty to drop hm. maniac, Laaloo and Lord 2 1 Link to comment
