Major difference between playing for RCB and CSK is the captain who backs you - Kedar Jadhav

Recommended Posts

Jadhav was a part of the Virat Kohli-led franchise during the 2016 and 2017 seasons, post which he was racked up by CSK in the 2018 auctions. Jadhav said that the major point of difference between playing for CSK and RCB is MS Dhoni, who backs his players to the hilt.

“Major difference between playing for RCB in Bengaluru and for CSK in Chennai is the captain who backs you and gives you the opportunities and has the confidence and faith in you,” Kedar Jadhav was quoted as saying by India Today.

He added “If you know as a player your captain (MS Dhoni) backs you and gives you more than enough opportunities, there is no better feeling. You can see the happiness on his face when you perform, he’s happy for you,”

Jadhav did not have a fruitful 2019 season for Chennai Super Kings but he was still retained by the Dhoni-led outfit ahead of the 2020 Indian Premier League auctions.

Jadhav was highly instrumental in India winning the first away bilateral ODI series vs AUS. And he was a bit mismanaged  by the TM  in the world cup. From that POV Jadhav is right.Any way there has always been better batsmen than him  and hence it is apt that it is ok to move on from him.

What a selfish guy this Jadhav is. Kohli has backed him like no tomorrow even after lackluster performances galore. Now once he is finally thrown out and realized he wont comeback, speaking against Kohli :finger:

It seems like Sui Dhaaga was just an excuse and he actually didnt liked the movie :hmmm:

He is talking from an IPL perspective. Records speak for themselves. Dhoni is a successful IPL leader. Kohli is the worst IPL captain of all time, on the return on $ spent on building a team to trophies won metric.

There is no question of Jadhav being selfish or an ingrate here.
