zen Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 (edited) If Raina was feeling claustrophobic or whatever due to bio bubble and wanted a room w/ balcony, CSK should have been kind enough to provide it (and to those who have similar issues) Other option for Raina could have been to upgrade to a room w/ balcony himself by opting to pay the difference in tariff out of his pocket (not much for a cricketer who earns millions annually) Rather than try to find a solution - if the "management" told Raina that he is free to go if he does not like the accommodations provided, in a way, Raina would be forced to leave Edited August 30, 2020 by zen

There wont have been other rooms, the hotel most probably was not up to the standard and only chosen because it's near/on the stadium. Same thing happened with Pakistan where they were put in 3 star hotels because it was in the bio-bubble. These hotels wont be upto the usual standards the players are used to but are the only options if one wants to maintain a bio-bubble Edited August 30, 2020 by New guy

But what we see in media and tv is just a part of it. Till the time Raina was main player forget dhoni, Srini wouldn't have dared to talk like that. I think raina has not been that great in IPL less said about internationals and also we have heard this rift/rumor between dhoni , Ashwin and with Raina also when they went for Gujrat team only jadega was retained in csk. Looks like Dhoni is done with their friendship xi and that could also be one of the reason that they asked Raina to **** off which is really bad for a player, coz it made him feel unwanted.

Srini thinks Dhoni is a "good son". i hope Dhoni for once doesn't stay as "good son" and remind Srini that its all about the players and fans and not about you.

These hotels wont be upto the usual standards the players are used to but are the only options if one wants to maintain a bio-bubble Pak team played test matches in a Travelodge which is at best 2-star acco .They preferred to stay there as the hotel was attached to the stadium complex in Southampton.I think।Raina's reasons are related to पठानकोट incident as he tweeted about it yesterday asking Punjab police to get the guilty asap.Srini and his staff might have tried to persuade him to stay but he didn't after giving priority to extended family over extra bucks he can make .CSK & Srini seem to have a case ofsour grapes as they did not plan a replacement and with Dhoni retired and rusty after one-year layoff , team seems to be a Dad's army and I would not be surprised if it is fighting for wooden spoon this year .Sent from my SM-A715F using Tapatalk
