MCcricket Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 India is missing a trick by not using K Yadav in this series, he would've been a game changer Mosher 1

Nice try. Doing whatever you can for your team.

You Australian fans have soft spot for Ishant because you associate him with that one spell to Ponting 10 years ago. Others here have seen plenty of Ishant since then, and we understand what the norm is for him.

Ankit_sharma03 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 “Shami was with the team in Ranchi also as Farhart is monitoring his progress. He was not named in the squad of 15 for the final Test. Sending him to play Vijay Hazare final was a part of that extensive rehabilitation plan,” a well-informed source was as quoted by PTI. https://www.sportskeeda.com/cricket/india-vs-australia-2017-mohammed-shami-out-of-dharamsala-test?ref=shami
tweaker Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Fast bowler Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of the fourth and final Test match as he has not yet recovered from his injury and is still undergoing treatment under physio Patrick Farhart.

Crap, then Ishant is going to continue. Hope Bhuvi replaces him if only 2 seamers are played.

Trust me, Ishant Sharma will do a good job in Dharmshala as it is a pitch that assists bounce and seam movement (like abroad). Otherwise, we have Bhuvi to take over the place. There is no need to risk Shami unnecessarily!

There is no need to risk Shami unnecessarily! I saw Shami bowl in the VH Trophy final a few days ago. He was bowling like a dream. Looked way better than any other pacer in India. Picked up 3 wickets for only 26 runs. But could not definitively understand whether he is fully fit for a 5 day match. Looked fit for a one day match though. wanted_desi, Laaloo and Mosher 3
coffee_rules Posted March 24, 2017 Posted March 24, 2017 i'd still play a fit bowler over a half-fit. If Ishant is no good, play bhuvi..not a half-fit shami
