If we win this, we will have ALL of the bilateral test trophies. We already have Pakistan (2007), Bangladesh (2016), SL (2015), NZ (2016), SA (2015), WI (2016), Eng (2016), Zim (no idea about the year). Just Aus left. We have to win it or we don't get it. As for our team, Kohli not well. Ashwin not well. Rahane not in form. Shami coming back from injury. Pitch looks a flatty patta which our opposition thrives on (but the same pitch has a reputation to be bouncy and seam friendly). Confident opposition who will be dying to create history. Can we overcome the obstacles and do it ONE FINAL TIME? This series has been Team Kohli's toughest challenge mentally. Winning it would mean the world to us cos we have been stretched to our very limit in this series. If we come out of this victorious, it would be a LEAP for our team in terms of temperament. Gollum Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 We have finished all recent series' on a high last 2 years. We start slow and then pick up, like rafa nadal. Even this series we played better in every succeeding match.Also law of averages indicates we will outperform them. My money is on India. But if we lose this will be the most painful loss since I started watching cricket. 2004 Australia hurts, 2012 England hurts but if we lose this I will be in ruins. May not be fit enough to play 5 days of cricket yet. Getting him back to bowling more gradually. Knee injuries for a fast bowler usually requires a long rehab process.
