He has that "It" factor and you have to see him to know he's destined for bigger stag. Any idea what's happened to him as haven't heard anything at all about him. He's not part of the India A squad and neither have I seen or heard about him in any of the major domestic tourneys. One thing which worries me is that he's in the same IPL team as Kohli and the two are very similar to each other in terms of temperament and there's more than a chance they will p**s each other off the same way Kohli & Gambhir would do if they are in the same side. Ideally Sarfraz should be groomed as a no. 5 or 6 batsman in shorter formats.

Also he is a good short format player and our domestic LOI are not properly scheduled.....one after the another With so many injuries he ll get chances this season, rest is upto him sscomp32, Mosher, SecondSlip and 1 other 4

kubrickian Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 He looks like a special talent from whatever I've seen of him. Hope he does well in IPL and then in the domestic season to get into Indian X1. Time is on his side so I feel he will make the side at some point.

Looking forward to the likes of Sarfraz Khan, Shreyas Iyer, Deepak Hooda, Sanju Samson, Krunal Pandya and other youngsters along with young Indian quicks to showcase their skills this IPL season. With lots of Indian stars out injured it's the ideal time for some of the young guns to make their case.
Gollum Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 He has shifted from Mumbai to UP in domestic cricket because his dad had some issues with Mumbai team management. Didn't do much for UP. Has shitloads of attitude and mental issues.

Not a clue if it's true or not. Happens quite often. Yograj Singh did the same with Yuvraj. The problem seems to be that Sarfraz's dad seems to be even more deluded and toxic than Yograj and may affect the future of his son. You have to rely on others to get to the national squad no matter how talented you are and you can't afford to p*ss off everyone else you will end up being sidelined.

But the guy is talented and someone to keep a closer eye on. I would have a stern talk with him and monitor his performances over the next couple of years. If he doesn't show any difference in his attitude move on. Hopefully he will get the message.

Idiots. They don't understand that they are actually hindering and even jeopardizing their kids' future. If they somehow piss off someone like Srini or a BCCI or a state association honcho, your kid can kiss his future as a cricketer goodbye.
