IPL > Indian FC cricket, test cricket and ODI cricket combined.

Al though you are trying to be sarcastic but I think both Pandya brothers have more potential than Pathans.Anyways the premise of the this topic is strange ,one cant compare Pathans (in prime) with Pandyas(whose prime is yet to be seen).

Yes, let Pandyas perform in domestic cricket first then we can compare them with Pathans.

Both are performing well I guess.

Hardik is 50% the bowler that Irfan was, and probably about the same level as a batsman, but with a different set of strengths and weaknesses.

Yusuf in his prime - 2009-2011 - was a very effective slugger down the order.  Sure he wasn't a great "batsman" technically.  But he could and did bludgeon his way to a lot of runs against all types of bowling.  Don't forget he scored an ODI 100 in South Africa - not exactly flat tracks or weak bowling team that.

Pandyas have done well at the IPL level, but have a long way to go to match what the Pathans have done.

50% of Irfan is an exaggeration. Surely less than that. You summed up my post. I agree.

Hardik has player few games and has been ok. Not very good performer at that level. Krunal has played one FC game.

Really do not get the ooohs and ahhs Irfan elicits from Indian fans. He was one of the most chicken hearted player ever to play for India. No amount of supposed talent can overcome that.

Chicken hearted cricketer how?????

That's a baseless statement.  Irfan made wrong choices in training in an attempt to increase his pace that didn't quite work and actually backfired - also got injured a few times, as bowlers often do.  Ended up with an underwhelming career graph relative to the potential and promise that he flashed early on.  Don't mistake your personal disappointment with his output into false slander.

Irfan was anything but unfit, chicken hearted (lol), and lazy as some people put it. if anything he was the opposite, trying to increase his pace and working on his batting to the detriment of what he was best at.

He was, at his best, a very good ODI bowler and all rounder. Key player under Chappell when for a while India were a good ODI team. Dont forget he was man of the match when India won in Perth in 08 (?) , key component of Jeet lo dil series win in Pak and T20 WC win... amongst other things...

He was a sad case of what might have been.

Irfan pathan batted like a specialist batsman against Australia in a Test match with dogged defense. Irfan bowling deteriorated faster and faster as his action was getting worse and worse.  Irfan was man of the match in Perth Test. Let us not forget. Pandya is good in scoring quick down the order. Irfan can open, come one down. I remember him thrashing Umar Gul for 5 fours in an over in Pakistan batting at 3.

Too early to give a verdict on Pandya bros.

I love the way Hardik is doing but it is his first big season. Hope he continues this way.

Krunal is just a hype right now till he is selected and shows
