Do RCB even have a strategy?

Rely on past it overseas players & have no lower order hitters - and this is supposed to be their strength.

The less said about the "bowling attack" the better.

Far too dependent on individual moments of brilliance rather than being an effective coherent team. RCB are a sorry mess.

This is the sad truth.

A team full of superstars is not what works in IPL. What you need are utility cricketers that fit in different roles. Also, when was the last time RCB unearthed some domestic talent like MI does almost every year (Krunal last year, Rana this year)?

The problem I find with RCB is that it's either a one man show or nothing. Teams like KKR or SRH  does not have champion players that will strike fears to the heart like RCB does but what those teams does best is team work in both department. RCB relies on Virat/AB/Gayle to do the job. If all these 3 fails or only if 2 out of these 3 fails, games gets out of hand for RCB. They need to get some decent bowlers in the team aswell.
