Zero_Unit Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 It always baffles me how RCB who is jampacked with highly regarded international players (some are still performing on a regular basis) ends up finding themselves down the point table. Ultimate_Game and velu 2
The Realist Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Do RCB even have a strategy? Rely on past it overseas players & have no lower order hitters - and this is supposed to be their strength. The less said about the "bowling attack" the better. Far too dependent on individual moments of brilliance rather than being an effective coherent team. RCB are a sorry mess. velu, Zero_Unit, beetle and 1 other 4

Texan Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 A team full of superstars is not what works in IPL. What you need are utility cricketers that fit in different roles. Also, when was the last time RCB unearthed some domestic talent like MI does almost every year (Krunal last year, Rana this year)?
BCCI Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 Injuries prior to the tournament derailed the momentum for RCB & obviously Gayle & Watson are past it now but RCB are stuck with them. TheWall 1

Teams like KKR or SRH does not have champion players that will strike fears to the heart like RCB does but what those teams does best is team work in both department. RCB relies on Virat/AB/Gayle to do the job. If all these 3 fails or only if 2 out of these 3 fails, games gets out of hand for RCB. They need to get some decent bowlers in the team aswell. velu 1
BeautifulGame Posted April 17, 2017 Posted April 17, 2017 I already told u guys Sack Kohli , make Gayle captain and have fun You may still suck but can atleast have fun while sucking.
beetle Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 I say, just give up and enjoy the party with uncle gayle . Ultimate_Game, speedheat, asterix and 4 others 7
speedheat Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 RCB strategies : Dancing like a fool on that song "dholido dhan dhana dhan" sipping some "daaru" Plying circus with Gayle and watto Bowing down to king bunny And as usual LOOSING a cricket match LOL velu and Rasgulla 2
CoverDrive Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Kohli should just look to bat 20 overs and take it as a prep for CT. Get back into form along with Jadhav beetle 1
Pixel Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 RCB missed a trick not getting Afridi. They're crying out for a capable lower order batsman who bowls 4 tidy overs
Ultimate_Game Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 ABDV is injured again so I guess Kohli should sit out and get ready for CT. This season's gone and no point for Kohli to risk injury before CT and he should rather take a break. speedheat 1

philcric Posted April 18, 2017 Author Posted April 18, 2017 More injuries ... Mills, ABDV, Badree RCB may as well give up and go home.
Ultimate_Game Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Finally RCB should get it that their strength is batting and the only way they can win is by out-batting the other teams. Hopefully we will see flat pattas at B'lore instead of slowish tracks we've seen so far.
maniac Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 Don't play Aravind pretty straight forward strategy Laaloo and speedheat 2
flamy Posted April 18, 2017 Posted April 18, 2017 They still let the other team get close instead of bundling them out and upping NRR. Bowling still sucks. Nothing new.
